How ApexResell XP Credits Actually Work (and Why They Beat Most Loyalty Programmes)

Most reward schemes are designed to confuse you. Ours pays back 50% of every euro you spend, never expires, and stays out of your way. Here's the full breakdown — earn rate, redemption maths, the 50% cap, and the five levels.

When you create an ApexResell account, 500 XP lands in your wallet before you do anything else. That is €5 of in-store credit, no card required, no email confirmation gauntlet — just there.

And then most new users freeze, because they have seen "loyalty programmes" before and assumed there must be a catch. So let's walk through the whole system in plain language.

The one-line version

Spend €1 → earn 50 XP. 100 XP = €1 off your next order. Use up to 50% per checkout. Never expires.

That's the whole programme. The rest of this article is just details, edge cases, and worked examples.

How you earn XP

Six paths into your wallet, in rough order of how often they trigger:

  • Sign up: +500 XP — once, on account creation. Worth €5. No strings.
  • Every paid order: +50 XP per €1 cash spent — on the cash portion only. If you pay €10 fully with card, that's +500 XP. If you paid €10 but used 500 XP for half of it, only the €5 cash portion earns — so +250 XP back.
  • First paid order: +1,000 XP bonus — once per account, on top of the regular 50/€1. Free starter packs do not trigger this — it has to be a paid purchase.
  • Daily claim: 10–100 XP — open your dashboard once every 24 hours and click the chest. Random reward, weighted so the big numbers are rare but possible.
  • First wishlist save: +50 XP — one-time bonus when you save your first product. Encourages exploration, can't be farmed.
  • Loyalty multiplier: +5% to +15% — Gold tier and up earn extra XP on every purchase. More on this in the levels section.

How you spend XP

XP redemption happens at the checkout step, not when you browse. Open the bundle drawer, and if you have any balance you'll see a slider labelled Use XP credits. Slide it to choose how much of your balance to apply against the order total.

Two rules to remember:

  • 100 XP = €1 off. The conversion is flat and never changes — no surge pricing, no "diamond rate" weirdness.
  • Maximum 50% of any order can be paid with XP. The rest is real money. We chose this cap deliberately to keep the programme honest. If we let new accounts pay 100% with the welcome bonus, bot farms would drain us in a week and the whole programme would have to shut down.

Worked examples

Order is €20 and your wallet has 1,200 XP.

Max usable: 1,000 XP (€10, the 50% cap). You apply 1,000 XP → order drops to €10 → pay €10 with card → earn 500 XP back (50 × €10 cash). Wallet ends at 200 XP existing + 500 earned = 700 XP for next time.

Order is €5 and your wallet has 600 XP.

Max usable: 250 XP (€2.50, the 50% cap). You apply 250 XP → order drops to €2.50 → pay €2.50 with card → earn 125 XP back. Net XP change: −125 XP, but you got €5 of product for €2.50 cash.

Order is €49 and you're on Gold tier (+5% bonus).

Max usable: 2,450 XP. You apply 2,450 XP → pay €24.50 with card → earn 1,225 XP base + 5% Gold bonus → 1,287 XP back. Two big orders like this and you've effectively recouped €25 in credit.

The five levels

Your lifetime XP — every XP you've ever earned, even the ones you've already spent — decides your level. So spending doesn't push you back down.

  • 🥉 Bronze: 0+ XP. Base rate. Welcome bonus + full shop access.
  • 🥈 Silver: 500+ XP. Base rate. Free Reels starter unlock, priority support.
  • 🥇 Gold: 2,000+ XP. +5% XP. Early access to new bundle drops.
  • 💎 Diamond: 5,000+ XP. +10% XP. Free monthly bundle drop.
  • 👑 Legend: 10,000+ XP. +15% XP. Custom requests, founder Discord.

What can't I do?

In the interest of being honest about limits:

  • You can't pay 100% with XP. The 50% cap is hard.
  • You can't earn XP on the XP-paid portion of an order. Only the cash half earns. Standard loyalty maths.
  • You can't transfer XP between accounts. Tied to whoever earned it.
  • You can't trade XP for cash refunds. It's store credit, not currency.
  • Refunds reverse the XP cleanly. If you refund a €10 order, the 500 XP you earned on it is removed and any XP you spent on it is returned. Wallet ends where it started.

The honest pitch

We built this programme with three principles. It had to be{" "} simple (no person should need a spreadsheet to know what their loyalty status is worth). It had to be{" "} generous (50% effective cashback is roughly 5x what most digital stores offer). And it had to be{" "} sustainable (the 50% per-order cap and the no-XP-on-XP rule are what make those first two possible).

If you want the technical UI walkthrough — checkout slider, dashboard history, level progress bar — head to the dedicated{" "} XP & Credits page. If you haven't created an account yet and want the 500 XP welcome bonus, that's{" "} over here.
