What Actually Happens When You Sign Up to ApexResell

Most digital stores that say "sign up free" mean "give us your email and we'll spend three months trying to upsell you into a $1,997 course before you ever see anything real". This is not that.

Here's the literal sequence of what happens after you click Sign Up at ApexResell. Ten minutes, start to first real product in your hand.

Minute 0: The sign-up screen

You land on a one-field form: email, password, or one-click Google. No phone number. No marketing-preference checkbox tree. No card. We do not currently and never plan to require a card to create an account.

As soon as the account exists, two things happen behind the scenes:

• A wallet is created on your profile.
• 500 XP is dropped into it — that's €5 of in-store credit, yours.

We log this as a "signup" event in your XP history, so when you visit your dashboard later you can see exactly where every credit came from.

Minute 1: The onboarding screen

Next page you see is the onboarding screen. It shows six free starter packs and asks you to pick one. Each one is a complete, downloadable product — not a teaser PDF, not a sales letter, not a "schedule a call to learn more". The actual file in zip format, ready to use.

Your six options are tailored to the six most common buyer profiles we see at ApexResell:

• Reels Sampler (50 ready-to-post clips) — for TikTok and Instagram creators
• Canva Quick Start (templates + tutorial) — for designers, agencies, marketers
• Photoshop Power Pack (20 actions + presets) — for photographers and editors

• Reseller Roadmap 101 — for total beginners who haven't picked a niche yet

Each pack is worth €5–€15 if you bought it cold. You get one — pick the one that matches what you're actually trying to do, not the one that looks most expensive.

Minute 2: Download

You confirm your starter pack. It's added to your{" "} library permanently. You can re-download it whenever — Christmas Day, three years from now, doesn't matter. The files live on our CDN, your library entry never expires.

You also receive an email with the receipt and a direct download link, just in case you log out before downloading.

Minutes 3–7: Look around

Now you're a logged-in user with a free product in your library and €5 of credit in your wallet. The most useful thing you can do is browse the main shop and see what else is here.

A few things to know as you browse:

• Every paid product comes with Master Resell Rights. You can resell what you buy to your own customers, set your own price, and keep 100% of every sale.
• Bundle discounts apply automatically. 2 items: −5%. 3 items: −10%. 4+ items: −15%. The drawer shows the running total live.
• You can use your 500 XP on any paid order. Cap is 50% of the order total — so on a €10 order, your full 500 XP brings it to €5. On a €4 order, you can use 200 XP for €2 off.

Minutes 8–10: First purchase

If you decide to buy something on day one, the checkout drawer is straightforward. Items list, automatic bundle discount, XP slider, then Stripe handles the card payment. Apple Pay and Google Pay work too.

The moment that order processes, three more things happen:

• The bundle is added to your library, alongside your starter pack.
• Standard XP is earned at 50 XP per €1 of cash you paid.
• First-purchase bonus fires: +1,000 XP. Once per account, on top of the regular earn rate.

So an €8 first order earns 400 XP (standard) + 1,000 XP (first-order bonus) = 1,400 XP back in your wallet. Combined with the 500 XP welcome bonus you started with, you now have 1,900 XP (€19 of credit) waiting for your next purchase. The maths is real.

What we don't do

Worth being explicit about, because the digital-products space has a reputation:

• No webinar funnels. No "register to watch", no fake countdown timers, no high-pressure replay-expires-tonight emails.
• No upsell maze. What you see in the shop is what you can buy. There is no $497 secret tier hidden behind a sales page.
• No course-then-tools bait-and-switch. Many MRR stores sell you a course that teaches you how to need their other products. Ours sells finished products you can resell today.
• No fake scarcity on digital files. The "only 3 spots left!" thing is silly when the product is an infinitely-cloneable zip file. We don't do it.

What to do after sign-up

In rough order of usefulness:

1. Claim your free starter pack on the onboarding screen.
2. Open the XP & Credits page and skim it once so you know how the wallet works.
3. Browse the shop. Filter by the category that matches your business. Bookmark what looks interesting.
4. If anything fits — buy it. Your 500 XP is sitting there.
5. If nothing fits today, no problem. The wallet doesn't expire. The starter pack is already yours forever. Come back when you have a specific need.
